We\'ve been friends
For some time
All the while
You were never mine

We both were taken
By ones we thought we loved
They broke our hearts
And now we are unloved

We always flirt
And we are there to comfort each other
But all the while
I wonder if we could ever love one another

Maybe you think of me
Like I think of you
And maybe soon
We could be in love too.

    Uhh...Sounds like a lullabye almost...But poem wise it's not exactly unique, it has a standard rhyme and flow...And honestly it's a bit boring to read. At least you kept it short!

    But I hope you don't take this to be malicious or anything...It's not bad, it's just not good.

    This was a trip. I mean it in the best way. I had such a friend growing up. He went to collage and I moved away.
    We still call each other from time to time and talk about what might have been.
