Regret

That one day,
I will not forget.
A day I met you,
Is now a regret.

Not really kowing you,
Your past, or even your name.
I thought of how I felt about you,
And if there was a flame.

You flirted and played games,
Even though we wouldn't meet again.
I played along and thought nothing of it,
Until I realized my heart had drained.

I knew I would miss him when he left,
But I never could have guessed that much.
Now, I'm left with the vision of his face,
And how I regret losing his soft touch.
