A Girl

All alone
in a dark, cold world
was a girl
who sat there as her life unfurled

Screaming voices
is all she hears now
wanting to be free from the noise
but doesn't know how

The dread and fear
has yet to subside
from her lonely mind,
now she wishes she died

There is no way
of freeing her from this
she'll remain lost in the dark
until she can find true bliss...

    that is a great poem, but i think the last line leaves the poem too open... the line is great, but i feel there should be more to the poem... but it is still a 5, mainly because the feeling you put into it is my favorite kind of poem. thanks for your comments!
