Para-Noid

by Richard   Aug 25, 2005

As the world goes on by,
without caring for who die,
the beast drools on my mitten
As my last breaths are written..

Those voices, those calls
at night the faces that crawl.
That sound of a gasp
Because immortality cant be grasped.

Reel in my line,
for it is for the last time.
As it lurks in the shadows
and tonight is the night.

From a great height it stalks
staying out of sight it mocks.
Because from night to sunsrise it feeds
And from there to sunset it seeps.

Night comes on, now i'm sorry
Morning seems a billion years away.
The sights i see now are gory
Forgive me father, let me stay!

These are my last words
for there is a ladder but no wall
He called himself para-noid
The lonesome android.

This is a pretty good poem. The only thing is, the first line doesn't make sense. A minor grammar error I guess. It didn't ruin the poem however, because on it's own, it's great. Keep up the good work my friend :)
