Will Tomorrow Be A Better Day?

by Steven Beesley   Mar 16, 2006

Will Tomorrow Be A Better Day? :

Can I believe that tomorrow will be
a better day, my troubles all gone, be far away?
Each night as I try to sleep,
I think tomorrow will just be another day.

Time is so remorseless, it never stays.
Never on your side, always in your way.
If I could turn back the clock,
I would try to make it different.

There is no control of destiny,
however hard she will not be swayed.
Wounds may be healed in time,
but scars are carried for a lifetime.

Sad memories, a vast archive which I wish to bury, all
out number the happiness which
continues to escape me, is so far away.

As they all say, head up, chin high,
tomorrow will be a better day.
The only hope I can cling to and
hope keeps all my fears at bay.

    Hmm I love this poem.

So nice written. It's perfect. The flow is just fantastic. Wow..

It's a question no one can answer "will tomorrow be a better day". Very powerful that you've put that question in your poem.
All we can do is pray that tomorrow will be a better day.

    Loved it alot.. Great poem!

    Lotsaaaaaaaaa love
