X The Same?

by Sole   Apr 2, 2006

I can't imagine what you think
You can't understand
So we're equal, you and I
Two strangers in a foreign land

It's neither of our fault
That I fell in love with you
Each can't understand the other
Or what we're going through

This is not my perfect world
Neither is it yours
Both of us are trapped
Behind forever closing doors

I closed a door for you
In turn you have closed mine
So what has come between us
That no longer are we fine?

Perhaps we're not as different
As we first assumed to be
But in hindsight will it ever
Be the same with you and me?

Once again an amazing write. all your pieces seem to have a really good structure to them. a really inner plot that i find interesting.

The poem was snappy and quick, like it rolled off the end of someones tongue. I kinda liked it.
