It ain't me who's missing him
A little more everyday
Ever since he went away

It ain't me who's crying
Who can't hold back the tears
Keeping inside all the sadness and fears

It ain't me who is too weak
To take it all in on my own
To deal with it all alone

It ain't me who's making promises
Just to see them break
With a big smile that is nothing but fake

It ain't me who lied
Who should be ashamed
For causing others so much pain

It ain't me who's scared
Of letting anyone in
Saving myself the hurt before it begins

It ain't me who want to run a way
Away from all this hate
Before it's just too late

It ain't me who makes myself bleed
Just to have some kind of control
Desperately trying to fix a broken soul

It ain't me who got lost
trying to leave everything behind
Looking for something I cannot find

It ain't me who refuses to get help
From someone I don't know
Over things that don't even show

It ain't me
This description just doesn't fit
Or does it?

    Hun, I made such a terrible mistake. The "canvas" poem is not yours. God I am sooooo sooooo soooooo sorry!

    I am so ashamed, I better go hide myself with my head as red as a tomato. I am so sorry for thinking that poem was yours, it just sounded so much like you!
