They said they'd make it better.

They said they'd come along,
They said that I'd move on.

They said it was good enough,
They said it was just a crush.

They said it would never last,
They said everything would remain in the past.

They said it wouldn't hurt,
They said it was just a flirt.

They said they were on my side,
They Lied.
