Happy laughter
Silent cries
Hope gone
Trust dies

Scars shown
Memories painful
Knife near
Life shameful

Sleepless night
Dreaded days
Finding myself
Slipping away

Left alone
Shit scared
Frightening thoughts
Nothing said

Feared nightmares
Another day
Anger rises
Keep away

Left defeated
Feeling mad
Confused mind
Hurting bad

Tortured heart
Battered brains
Deep cuts
Bloody stains

Hidden feelings
Emotions confused
Hurting inside
Knife used
