Mistakes

We all do things wrong
We all make mistakes
From the lies we tell
To the promises we break

Some times we say things
That should have stayed unsaid
Sometimes we repeat
The wrong thoughts in our head

Sometimes we hurt others
To stop the pain we feel...
Sometimes we're someone
That just isn't real

Sometimes we do something
That make others cry
Sometimes we hurt someone deeply
From not returning their smile

And sometimes we judge others
Before we judge ourselves
Sometimes we make things worse
From only trying to help

But what I'm trying to say is
That we all do things wrong
But I know you never meant
To hurt anyone

Just a quick poem I wrote to show someone I understand that they made a mistake and that it's ok, because we all do wrong things, and they never meant to hurt anyone, they only wanted to help

    I hope you know why I read this, and I believe it’s not about me.
    But I hope the one you wrote this for is living just a little more free.
    And I’m sorry if I bother you, I don’t mean to be those flies.
    That return every summer, to try close your open eyes.
    And if you only take one thing, just one thing away from this.
    It is that I’m sorry, and not every sorry should be dismissed.
    Although 99.99% of mine should be detoled.

      It's not about you. I'd never forgive you, because you didn't just make a mistake and then leave me be, you've continued to harrass me for over 15 years now. Yours is a sorry I'll always dismiss.

    I really loved this poem, its not everyday someone makes a mistake and a kind hearted person is ablt to say "its ok, you never meant to hurt anyone". this poem really meant a lot to me. plese continue writing! and stay safe, strong, and healthy (and tell the person this is about to do the same)
