Time To Let Go

She takes his hand in hers
"Baby we need to talk now"
She really needs to tell him
But she don't know how

He is nervous and scared
Of what she might say
"What is it, please tell me"
He wish he could get away

She has tears in her eyes
And her heart skips a beat
How can she ever hurt him
When he seems so weak

He stares at her sad eyes
And then let go of her hand
Tears are rolling down her face
"Baby, I don't understand..."

"It is time for us now
to let each other go
I need to tell you something
Something you don't know"

He does not want to listen
This can not be true
"How can you give up on us
Don't you know that I love you"

"of couse I know, how could I not
but I am not happy anymore
I have to do this for myself
To find what I am looking for"

They stare at each other
Nothing around but silence
They are both so confused
Nothing to them makes sense

Her last words as she leaves
"Baby I really did love you"
But never will she tell him
That she was untrue
