A Tired Soul

by Letty   Sep 22, 2006

I don't have the strength anymore
to put up a decent fight.

The war is over and I have lost.
The collateral was my life.

I played with fire without any
concern of whether I would
loose or win.

But fate cheated me badly when my
back was turned my worst enemy
was let in.

I lost a lot in this unseen war that
was just for my eyes only to see.

But as I walk the mile
to my indescribable fate.
I know its not my destiny.

But my soul is tired, so I'm
giving up. I guess I'm letting
them win.

But who would have thought that
so many ups and downs
would be the reason
that I'd give in?
