The Rain Of Tears

The rain falls from the sky,
Like the tears that fall from my eyes.
I wonder how long the sadness will last?
Or how long I will yearn for the past?
Is there happiness in the future for me?
I don't feel like my eyes will let me see.
When I let my mind think,my eyes fill with tears.
Wanting back the passing years.
All the times when we were young.
The times we played and had so much fun.
The times when we were tucked in safe and sound.
When breathing and snoring, were the only night sounds.
When mom and dad were just a door away.
There when we cried, our tears to wipe away.
When there was always a brother or sister there.
Someone to play with, someone to care.
Then you died and went away,
I miss you more with each passing day.
My tears they mix with the rain,
There is no way to escape this pain.
