Needing to hold you
Found a friend that's true
Awaken by nightmares

On you I've ever relied

Kindness you bestowed
Feelings we have shared

French poetry form, it has a refrain - the final line of each stanza is the same. 4 lined stanzas with a rhyming pattern of aabb A rhyme pattern of abab may also be used if desired.
