On her own

by Sarah   Dec 27, 2007

She's left on her own
with no one by her side
people running behind her with knifes
there's no place for her to hide

her body is turning blue
from running on the streets in the rain
she looks into the puddle
her eyes are filled with pain

She collapse into the ground
her legs jammed under the wood
her eyes begin to fear
she remembers this old neighborhood

its where her family and friends lived
the wind blowing through her hair
she spots her home
and begin to stare

tears flushing down her face
and, combines with the rain
she wipes her face with her sweater
and finds a blood stain

she finds a tunnel
with water draining down the walls
she runs fast as she could
and she falls

her eyes begin to turn crimson red
a thing, she cant see
the girl I'm talking about
it is, of course me

People defer from one another and most of the times not all the people we meet are good, I think this one is about being so strong despite the reality of the world that not all would understand us. KUDOS Sarah! I really enjoyed this one.
