Shrouded Memories

by Cindy   Dec 31, 2007

Promises made left to die
Your life taken away
Facing mine in solitude
Wishing you had stayed

Every-night thoughts of you
Frozen in my mind
No longer knowing what is real
Stranded here in time

Living in the darkness
For so many years
Loneliness worse than death
Memories shrouded in fear

When you come for me
I'll stay in your embrace
Being left without you
To much for me to face
