A Rare Friend

You gave me your strength
No more feeling alone
Touched my heart with love
Helping me stand on my own

Your words gave me hope
Beauty once more unfolds
Showing me the world again
Breathing life into my soul

Your voice restored my faith
Friends like you a rare find
Wrapping me in your warmth
Waking up my sleeping mind

I'll hold you close forever
Connected from the start
Spirits melding across miles
You'll always live in my heart
