Souls, left to wonder
in the uncertainty of
DEATH.

"mama, can you hear me
am I dead...are you?"

"Just be quiet for now,
hush child...
when this is over I promise
we will have ice cream".

but...

the queue was long and the shop closed,
"In Mourning" the sign read.
Mama...What does mourning mean?

So..

we joined the other queue
this was longer
but the light was brighter

Mama...are we dead now?
Mama...Mama

Where are you mama???

I'm having chills. What a sad poem, a sad reality. What a harsh world we live in. Your words touched me deep inside. The last interrogative sentence was so painful..Thank you for sharing your emotions and expressing how you feel by your own words, Hellon <3

Even though quite predictable, the last sentence made me cry.
It must be some kind of crime, making people cry. At list in this site must be some kind of ranking for these behaviours, like phrases such as: bullying vulnerable emotions, abusing other's sensitivity, exploiting people's tender feelings for personal or poetical gratification.

So many chills reading this and not even able to grasp what that would be like... that confusion and chaos and reality of a terrorist attack.... that hatred in a shooter's mind. Such violence happening in a place of worship that is supposed to bring the soul piece.

    My heart breaks reading this
