Smiles Abound

by Lonely Rider   Jan 13, 2011

Full to the brim with smiles abound
Whistling a tune of morning song,
skipping on path, some lost, some found,
incessant time just hops along.

Magical runes on shadowed wail,
dream-struck orbs across yester's tail,
glimmering beneath stardust grace,
blooming within the spring's embrace.

**A Rispetto is an Italian form which is a complete poem of two rhyming quatrains abab ccdd. Syllable count is 8 per line.

A nice form and this poem was full of a really good message. The flow was good and went form the first stanza to the second without interruption. The structure was good as well. There were some emotions in this poem, which gave life to the poem. All in all, this was a true poem from the heart and I found it very heart filled. Great job and keep writing. :]
