Rot In Hell.

by Steven Beesley   Jun 8, 2012

Take me away
to where the sands
of time run out

Where we can
remain motionless
and unbound
by the constraints
of time itself.

Upon the turbulent
winds that we may
swoop upon the
tyrants below.

Let the Godless
know that their time
is coming and there
will be a heavy toll.

Sickened by the
politicians who
spin only poison
and lies.

They should be
wrapped in sack
and tossed into
the river styx.

Followers of Lucifer
each and every
one.

The needless
bloodshed that
has been caused
and anarchy for they
have raised.

Reason to line their
pockets at your
and my expense.

Suffer the coming
generations as
they all rot in a
living hell that their
fore fathers have
kindly created.

For the demons
that we cannot
rebel will surely
see us all on
our way.

They all
rule with forked
tongues and
guns.

Ransacked this
earth, our
home.

Typos: "river styx" is supposed to be "River Styx" since it is a place. However, it is your poem :)

Interesting poem here, Steven. I have a feeling that you do not like politicians at all, or have a grudge against some of them. Politicians do seem to run the whole show don't they? They try to persuade people to be on their side by promising some great thing, and then they end up not even keeping their bargain. Most of them are compulsive liars. I have not yet heard of one that was honest and true to their word.

Anyway, this is a good poem. For some reason, this reminds me of Dante's Inferno. Weren't politicians said to be in the eighth circle?

Its a pity what is happening around in the world.
Whatever done in the past we now pay for it,
likewise whatever that is been done now the
future and our children will pay for it...its a
vicious never ending cycle..Well said my friend!!

True, all of it. Well spoken, this needs to be said over and over. I hope the tide will turn, it would be a bloody miracle if it did..but still, we need to focus on the things that are positive.

    Well done,
