That’s all it takes.

We could
Unknowingly be
The very push
That someone needs
To take that final step-
Either through the finish line
Or
Putting that noose around their neck.

Words-
No matter what
Their initial intentions-
Can be dangerous
Weapons…

And need to be treated
With the same
Respect
And
Responsibility.

Not only can they be
The catalyst to something
Amazing
And
Beautiful-
The motivation someone needs
To be successful,
Happy,
Or free…

But if we forget
To put the safety on,
And get careless-
Our fingers
Pulling on that trigger
Will
Inevitably
Hit
Something.

Someone.

Say what you will.
Give your opinions.
Speak your mind.

But remember,

Just like a bullet
In mid-shot-
We cannot take it back.

No matter what happens.

No matter who we hit.

...And bullet holes leave scars...

Don’t be that bullet,
That scars someone for life,
Or worse-
Ends it.
