Grain of Sand.

A grain of sand
Is what I am..

Small
Stepped on
Sometimes unseen.

Washed away without warning.
Faced to struggle alone.

No need to fight back.
For its no use ..
I'm just a grain of sand.

Sometimes packed away in the depths.
The more you dig me up the colder it gets.

Darkness; yet can bring so much joy.
Adventurous; traveling the abyss of the sea.

I'm just a grain of sand..

Stranded.
Lost.
Constantly ran over.

But still manages to see the beauty in the stars.
Everynight as i sit there
Wondering what will happen next.

Will I overcome and become a pearl?
Or will I just stay a grain of sand..?
