Wanderlust

The clouds part
and all I see is
…sky…
Miles upon miles
of the sweetest blue
you could ever
sink into

I chase the horizon
…breathing in a new day…
and I long for the wind
to play with my hair
and for the sun
to make love to my skin

…Earth beneath my feet…

…Sand between my toes…

The waves beckoning
to my thirsty soul

…

I want to get lost.

Never to be found.

…and to keep on running…

Until I learn to fly
