A soul cracks into two
Much like a tree; struck upon by lightning
A heart is shattered into a thousand pieces
Much like a glass; dropped on a hardwood floor

A mind is clouded
Much like the sky; on a stormy day
A body is numb
Much like a drunk; when they’ve had too much

Destruction has been made
Like a tornado; on an already made path
Tears continue to flow
Much like a river; trying to connect to the sea
