Deal or no Deal

Madam Speaker, please lend an ear
“I’m just a common Brexiteer”
I’m all for one and one for all
but talk is cheap and such a bore.

Old blighty waits for come what May
to sign and seal a deal today
Okey Kokey I hear them shout
is Brexit in or is it out!?

For those who wished to pull away
eyebrows raise and to skies of grey.
Back and forth we swing and wait
to hear the stamp to seal the fate.

My ears are done with Brexit talk
each day that comes, that’s all they squawk
A waiting game of will or not
to leave the European pot

...so sword i’ll choose to live and die
I’ve heard enough of grown men cry,
no more I’ll stand a Brexiteer
I’ll be a neutral Musketeer

    Very topical :) I think that its all gone on far too long the misdirection the scare mongering and misinformation. Cant wait for it all to be over in 70 days then we can get on with our lives again. Milly x
