A missing title...

by Star   Mar 4, 2019

They called me a psychopath,
but you looked into my eyes
not fearing what I held inside
or even what my red tears
looked like...

Where.... have you been?
.
.
.
you asked

and I couldn’t answer,
for I have feared that you
would also leave me

But you
opened my
chest, took my
heart out, and painted it
.
.
.
white.

You carefully
placed it tilted right,
and sutured me with
yellow stitches.

An interesting read where you open yourself to the other
and place your precious heart in love's hand. I liked the format
of this write and the way it flowed...well penned.

Adored the ending to this, Star. I feel there’s an innocence here, and a desperation for understanding and acceptance.
