Together in your shadow

the syllables
of your name drown me
in constellations of your
shadow, and I find myself
sinking deep in your eyes.

the galaxies did not lose their
gravity so did you;
you keep pulling me in.

the cold swirls around me,
and I could feel you dancing
to our favorite upbeat song,
like a burning star that’s not
afraid of dust.

even though you want to
move on, this interstellar medium
keeps us floating together.

i will be by your side till the end
your stellar remnant.
