Disregarded Tears

by Meena Krish   Dec 6, 2021

A tree cut down is a
a child chopped
mercilessly,

A plant trampled upon
is a fractured
life,

Under whose wings
we take shade...

Man disregards
the value of her
face.

For me personally, I can think of two things that this poem is talking about - nature and a mother.
"Under whose wings we take shade... Man disregards the value of her face." How true. Enjoyed reading this!
