Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Sadly,
Forgiveness
Is a rare currency
In this wrenched world
For only the illuminated ones
Can possess such a divine wealth…
Waste no time dear Friend,
Cleanse your temple from false idols
And let True Light fill up
The altar of your heart…
It will not only brighten the path
That leads to The Beloved
But also the one you
Leave behind for others
To follow…

"Cleanse your temple from false idols" such a beautiful and active phrase! And what we leave behind for others, almost like footprints and inheritance. Inspired!

    Hello,

I like a concrete/shaped poem. Your diamond shaped poem is a gem! Its contents is more of a hidden gem: Forgiveness is an act that if given can free up the heart of the forgiven and that of the forgiver, too! As you rightly say, this act will 'leave behind for others to follow'

    Nice work - take care.
