One Last Stab (Emma)

If this is a dream, let me pretend
not like others; loved and planned ahead.

she found what was hidden behind my deceitful lies
She found the true me, the heart that's inside.

we talk without speaking a word
we know each other; no learning curve

never alone; she's always by my side
Shaun MacKinnon is gone; loving genocide.

I couldn't say what we had in a poem
Those people who are loved know.

I know that when i hurt myself i am hurting her too.
Because of the promise i made i will always be true.

She forgives my quirks and knows i try.
because true love comes sometimes wearing a disguise.

i don't mind being called "a Big Softy"
Because she loves me and does it tastefully.

I could clear whole Forrest's trying to get my point across.
if you don't know what love is, it's because your lost.

Waiting to be found by your Emma
i am blessed because we're Together.

i fall asleep known I'm love like no other
she is there with me each night under the covers.
