Shooting Star

I sit outside
watching the night sky
thinking about you
and how my tears are finally dry

It took me awhile
but now I\'m finally through
with feeling the feelings
I once had for you

I do miss the days
when we were together
but now I see
this is for the better

I am moving on
just like the shooting star above me
looking for new love
and where it may take me

So, now if you are having regrets
and still do care about the one that used to love you,
I hope you know that it took me awhile
but I dont want you back. I want someone new.
