Scared Of My Reflection

What is that ugly corpse,
Staring back at me.
With hidden lies and secrets,
I don't want to see.

Observe the way she talks,
Look at her tired face.
Stare deep into her eyes,
She longs for an embrace.

Do you see her broken smile?
That has been such a fake.
used and abused too long,
None of this she can take.

Tap into her thoughts,
See her desperate plea.
This person she loathes,
She no longer wants to be.

Look down toward her wrists,
The several lines where she bled.
One of her little secrets,
Her only friend she said.

Go deeper into her thoughts,
Where you'll see only one thing.
Her long awaited death,
Just to forget everything.

This girl I've studied well,
And I'm scared as i realize.
This f u c ked up girl is me,
And her fate is so finalised.

    Another great poem, and such a familiar topic too. However this time I have something good to say, lol. You have a lot of friendship poems to those you care about and you are such an AMAZING FRIEND! You are so genuinely caring and loving to them especially when they need you. I know very few people who are like that, who have that gife, and you are one of them. Hun you are incredible, and so kind to others. There are qualities that everyone hates about themselves, I know there are times I can't bare to look in a mirror without wanting to smash it, and I am sure you have felt that too. But there are many great things about you, that outweight the things that you don't like. I know there might be a lot on the disliking list right now, but that's okay. Pick one or two to work on for now and set the other's aside. Start everyday trying to become the person you want to be. Good luck baby! Love ya!
