Warmth Of The Sun.

by Steven Beesley   Jul 6, 2006

Warmth Of The Sun:

Feeling the warmth of the
sun on my face as the
sweat begins to form
into droplets and trickle down.

On a day such as
this, how could there
be any problems
anywhere in the world?

A fresh warm wind
blows and I hear
the rustle of all the
leaves around me.

All the dark clouds
and the heavy rains of
past days now gone,
they have washed and cleansed.

The storms are gone and
all has finally blown over,
new seedlings now sprout;
signs of new growth and a fresh start.

A nice write, the sense of cleansing and rebirth, the beauty of the life giving sun and a new beginning of a fresh day, yet containing a deeper meaning than a first reading would suggest.Excellent write.

Your poetry is so refreshing and beautiful. And the part I love the most, is that even if I read this poem more than once, I will always find something new. (If that makes any sense at all lol) But anyways... keep up the beautiful writing and take care!

This directs me in two ways... The beautiful beginning of a fresh summer... Mixed so delightfully with a fresh start, cleansed by the summer sun! Beautiful and so peaceful.

Steven your poem was very invigorating! You have touched on one of the simplest pleasure in life and that is to feel the warm sun on our face. Too many times we take that for granted. Thanks for reminding me how good that really feels in this busy world.
