Choking in the Butterfly World

by The Queen of Spades   Nov 9, 2006

I despise the speaking device

the butterfly world rejects me

the feeling starts crawling inside my skin

i'm starting to realize

this is a day, just like all the rest

it will pass, and tomorrow will be better

right?

well don't be so sure

because sometimes

the day after is exactly the same

and the day after that too

so the idea of pulling the trigger

seems all the more perfect,

in this butterfly world,

a land where i never belonged

i'm choking.

I thought it said 'cooking' in a butterfly world. Didn't know what was going on! Good poem though...
