I Miss you Since Your Gone

by Cindy   Nov 28, 2006

I MISS YOU SINCE YOUR GONE

I miss you now that you are gone,
My heart crys out from being alone.
Being alone is so hard for me,
It is hard for anyone else to see.
They don't understand
for they are not like me.
When you were here I felt safe and secure,
Nobody bothered me thats for sure.
Not like now since your gone.
The things that are said,
The things that are heard
How I wish I were a bird.
I would fly to the heavens,
It sounds so absurd.
I miss you and your dimpled cheek,
The way you talk the way you sleep.
The way you shuffle cards,
the way you eat.
I miss the sound of you breathing at night,
The way you held my hand so tight.
I miss the way you would say my name,
I miss your temper when we would play games.
I miss so many things about you,
Nobody even has a clue.
It is so hard to be alone,
When I spent most of my life with you.

Another amazing poem, i like this one because it shows just the smallest things someone can do can be the things we miss the most when the person is gone.

"When you were here I felt safe and secure,
Nobody bothered me thats for sure."

i liked this line because i can relate to that and its very true what you wrote, not many people can understand that.

    another great job xxx

    "How I wish I were a bird.
I would fly to the heavens,"

When you miss someone with all your heart, you feel like would do anything to see them again..
I've been here, i can relate to this quite a lot....
    Beautiful words...
