Thinking Of You

by Cindy   Dec 7, 2006

I thought of you today and yesterday too.
I've thought of you everyday,
Since the Lord took you.
Sometimes it makes me cry,
sometimes I even laugh.
When I think of things we did in our past.
You left me with my memories,
That I can think about.
I use them to comfort me,
When I'm missing you.
Sometimes memories just won't do.
I need to feel your arms around me,
The comfort of your hand.
I need to feel your lips on mine,
run my fingers through your hair.
Sometimes this life just isn't very fair.
God took you to Heaven,
your families prayers to hear.
I don't think he realized,
how much I need you near.
I miss you so much dear,
my life is empty now.
I would give anything,
to see your smiling face,
once again to feel your warm embrace.

    I know how you feel...

    "Sometimes memories just won't do.
I need to feel your arms around me,"

people will always say, you have memories...which is true... but theres nothing that will compare to having them arms around you.

amazing poem. well done Cindy xx

    I loved this.
I thought it was sweet yet sad as it was filled with both love and pain.
    You did a wonderful job.
