Beside Me All Along

The first time we ever met
God blessed our life
Leading us to the church
You took me as your wife

Blessing all our days
When we had our son
Watching over our family
Our struggles as we won

When you got sick
Calling for all to pray
Answering what we asked
Granting you more days

Day came when you passed
Felt God had forsaken me
Questioning Him again and again
He was with me, I didn't see

Now you're gone and I'm alone
He's beside me keeping me strong
Realizing what I did not see
God's been with me all along

    This was beautiful.
    The hope at the end of the poem is inspiring.

    Aww thats very beautiful, I to believe that god is with us even when we feel were alone. I think its when we get passed the worst we finally realize we didn't get passed it alone. Again very beautiful.
