Lesson's Taught

So many lessons taught
Things in life we learned
Your time was cut short
Now for you we yearn

You were always there
For anyone in need
Opening home and heart
Always doing a good deed

Never turned your back
Instead held out your hand
Family, friend or foe
Helping each one to stand

You made a difference
In those you touched
With all your faith
You always gave so much

Never asked in return
Prayed for all you knew
Wanted to make a better life
Sharing all you valued

Can you see us now
All the tears we cry
You made a difference
So let your soul fly

A tribute to my husband who made such a difference in everyone's life that he touched.
