When I heard that kings and queens were allowed to keep lovers I stopped addressing my wife "my queen".
What's the problem with being a tree-hugger? Why shouldn't we hug trees? After all, they do give us life. If we can hug our mothers for doing so, then why not show the same appreciation for trees?

The person who can hurt us the most, is ourselves.
Things don't get easier. You just get used to it.
For me, a good poem is about the message. Not a lot of pretty and obscure words slathered on like too much frosting on a cake.
You can avoid the rain by finding shelter; you can avoid the cold by wrapping up warm; you can avoid the night by sleeping through it, but some struggles follow you into bed.
