Conflict

by CJ Maleney   May 8, 2018

As the the pretty flowers are crushed and broken,

I miss you!

As the tarmac continues it's way relentlessly through this green and pleasant land,

I miss you!

As a tree falls and a field is churned to mud.

I miss you!

When I see a machine gouging into the land and causing absolute carnage.

I miss you!

But!

If they did not build these roads!

I would miss you more.!

I liked this very much. It is a thought provoking piece and I think that the last couple of lines really sums up the conflict. Definitely worth publishing it. Milly x

I wasn't sure about the whole thing to be honest. But it's sat in drafts long enough so figured I would float it.

    Like your honesty dude.

    Craig,

I wasn't sure about the end, as just read your BBQ one. But I am so pleased that this had such an ending, as it showed a lovely line of emotion

No matter the sight, the environment or a little object
no matter how insignificant it is, everything about them reminds
you of the person who is in your heart. It maybe mundane things
but it all leads to the person whom you miss very much...keep

I wanted to do more with this but it was one of those that I just couldn't wrap my head around so you get it in its basic format.
