Songbirds Flying High
Trees sway in the wind...
Lush green blanket giving warmth to the bare...
Giant high mountains of rock built, exhibiting...
When the rain falls,
all is so quiet...
To Summer's dismay, comes Fall's grand array
Midas' touch slowly unfolds...
Freeing up my heart
for fields that lay a'yonder...
Sitting by the window I see the sky ahead.
I fall silent, awed by the phenomenon...
Cactus waving hi,
while driving by...
The club of a caveman
waving in the brown heat...
In a car
it's raining...
To walk,
To run...
Stop,
Just for a moment...
I glanced at the light of this beautiful night.
Such a sight, not touched by blight...
