As much as I want
to run away from you
that much makes me
want to run back
into your arms,

as much as I want
to look away and not see you
that much makes my eyes yearn
to look into yours
and say I love you,

as much as I don’t want to
admit the truth
it has taught me a lesson
of heartaches and cries

as much as I thought I didn’t
need you time has proven
the importance of You
in my life
