Once Again, it's Over

Like nothing I've ever felt before,
Like the shreds of twine that meddle.
My thoughts and feelings are lost,
So confused I'm stuck in the middle.

Why do I always love the chase?
And when they're mine it falls apart.
Doesn't matter how great they are,
I still manage to act without a heart.

And now I look into your eyes,
And I can't make this choice.
To break it off now so harshly,
To leave you without a voice.

Who am I to treat you like this,
You've only ever cared and loved me.
And I'm throwing it back at you,
Leaving you in your misery.

This cruelty is eating away at me,
I'm going to stay away from it all.
Being alone is what I need right now,
It's time to once again build my wall.

So my last words to you,
I'm sorry for all the pain.
For your heart ache and effort,
For going through it all again.

Forget me please,
It's best for you.
Let go of me please,
I've not been true.

*to Ben, I just couldn't do it and I'm sorry. Sorry I wasn't worth the pain, not worth your love.

    I sat here, reading this and i swear, my ears? perked up. My mouth? dropped open and i sat up straighter.

    I'm the same!! I don't understand it either. It's like i fall for ones who are either out of my league, are complete shits, or are so nice and would make me happy, i kill the realationship or just don't like them anymore.
    It's like gaaaah! You can see it and know it will happen but pray it will be different. But it never is. *huffs* Life n Love eh?

    Sweetie never regret life little lessons, it's not your fault your heart didnt measure up to what he and your expected, im glad you listened to it and didnt drag it out as most people would have.
