Why is it we listen to the truth but only believe the lies?

All i want, is someone to hold me when I cry tonight. Someone to lie to me and tell me, that everything will be alright.

She sat with her friends during a movie
A movie where a girl cuts
Her friends were disgusted
While she sat && watched
Knowing what was under her sleeve

She sits on her own
her identity unknown
life is so unfair
why does no-one care
she's a geek
to uncool to speak
but they don't know
that she's not dreaming
inside she is screaming
she doesn't want help
she needs it.

She finally gave up ; she dropped the fake smile as a tear ran down her cheek &she whispered to herself; i can't do this anymore

A good friend hugs you when you cry
a best friend hugs you when you smile because they no your crying on the inside

Sick of crying....
Tired of trying...
Yeah, I'm smiling.
But inside I'm dying.

Just because I'm not crying, it doesn't mean I'm okay.
