The Life of a Shadow
Perhaps a shadow, is a copy of life...
He wandered 'round the house one day
Searching hard for his keys...
CONTEST POEM:
Survival of the fittest...
Sitting at the bar
having sank a few...
That lonely sock left in your drawer,
The washer split the pair...
Time has found a resting place settled in my skin,
My face is full of age, and 40's round the bend...
When turned down
your first idea is to die...
I woke up Friday morning
to see that my shoe was missing...
Once a month, I have a "friend" who...
But I dread it when she comes, for I hate her so...
Warm sun beating on my face
The garden is a lovely place...
Twelve o'clock noon,
And I'm still in bed...
There is a battle inside each of us
Between light and dark, but I must confess...
