Torn Apart

by AnnaCG   Sep 10, 2016

If I disappear with the morning,
Will your bitterness follow my wake?
If I hate you like I love you still,
Will this numbness overtake?

If I am to be your villain,
Will you be the hero in the end?
If you hate me like you loved me once,
Will I ever comprehend?

How I would give forever,
To sort out your wayward heart.
But overnight I fade to nothing.
Just a girl, torn apart.

Definitely, and her writing style is similar to ours. She'll fit right in.

Excellent. I don't know how I missed seeing your poetry before. I think that sometimes there are so many poems to read that many good ones slip through the net. So it's great to finally discover them. Thankyou for sharing. Milly x

A very deep piece. Many of us can relate to this, me included. Love can hurt like hell but when loved properly it can be so wonderful.
