This is such a powerful write! Being a woman and surviving through all odds takes a lot of courage. Especially, since patriarchy and misogyny are so deep routed in some parts of the world; hence, the rise of feminism for parity on all levels. All we ask is to be treated with kindness and respect...to be treated as human. Beautifully written piece that captures it all...a well-deserved win. Congratulations! |

This is really amazing. It evokes that feeling that, I would think, every woman has at some point in life. For us there is no winning. You're always too much of one thing and not enough of another. Or if you show some exceptional skill, it's automatically decided that you are some sort of exception to your gender. |
