Looking Forward

by CJ Maleney   Mar 6, 2019

So much land and sea have I traversed.

So many things for ones eyes to behold.
So much joy and so much misery!

These eyes have witnessed it all.
I feel they will see so so much more.
See me travel through my mediocre life.

They will see me fall again!
They will see confusion and doubt.
They have however witnessed being found!

They will see me lost again,
I'm sure!

There will be times when I ddo not know anything.
where my life is headed for?

"what just happened".

The roads we travel may lead us to nothing.
Or often to a thing called regret.

I will perhaps be on the wrong path again.

But at least, and for once.

I know which lane I need to be in.

No matter how many paths we take, how many miles we travel, how many mountains we climb. We keep growing up, we’re still on an ongoing journey called life. The only thing that changes, is that we learn what we truly want from it. That is my interpretation, and I love this!!

I love your comment. The thing is this though. Do any of us truly know what we want?

I think we do not. We have desires and aspirations that is true but we don't actually know what we want.

If we did and we achieved it then life would be pretty bloody mundane.

I like the idea of a path with no destination because that is simply what all of us have in front of us.

The good thing about a life well travelled is that every experience brings self knowledge and so by the time you are too old to experience life you can look back and chuckle over the best bits because you realise that what is important when you are younger changes with age. No matter what happens from now on you will always have all those puppy experiences to make you smile.. Much love Milly x

Oh I've so many tales to tell about my Thunder.

Too many to document as it would bore the hell out of people.

He's ma dawg, and I'm his bloke.
