Winter came early
to the low country...
Sonnets can't compete
Under milky skies - waking...
Scattered sheep on fields,
trailed by tiny fleecy coats...
I sat
in the sun...
Why do warm days reduce in size,
And seeds fall with the Autumn leaves...
Spurned,
staring into a void...
Bright beacons beckon
Anchors in the endless night...
I didn't know
some ants had wings...
The suns gleaming rays,
Brings back the memories of...
The frost has kissed
the leaves lying in my yard...
Barefoot in nature
I release all my tension...
Sometimes I get so high
I look to the sky...
