Entering england, beating the Celts
veni, vidi, vici...
Our checkered past, littered over the years
war, depression, victory, and many tears...
The bombs a thunderous storm.
An earthquake of explosions...
Celebrate this endless love
Throw confetti in the air...
I have tried time and time again
to write a poem about our soldiers...
I remember that day so well,
where I was, what I was doing...
Families left behind
Answering their call of duty...
You lie on your bed
Head heavy, nauseous, dizzy...
Soon my brother will be back in the land from...
He will be away from that horrible place we call...
When I look up at the sky,
I some how see your face...

I have just made it, in the constrict of time...
War
so sad war...
